2.2 Models of school learning
Students, regardless of their individual characteristics, do not learn in vacuums. Cognitive and non-cognitive characteristics interact with a variety of environmental variables to produce various educational outcomes.  A number of comprehensive models of school learning have been postulated to describe and explain the overall learning process.
