Institute for Applied Psychometrics (IAP)
The Institute for Applied Psychometrics, llc (IAP) is a private research organization (founded in 1998) devoted to the application of educational, psychological, measurement and statistical procedures to issues and problems in education and psychology. 
The goal of IAP is to provide a bridge between psychological, measurement and statistical theory and methods and applied practice in psychology and education. IAP llc is a private research organization, founded by Kevin McGrew in 1998, devoted to the application of educational, psychological, measurement and statistical procedures to issues and problems in education and psychology.  The goal of IAP is to provide a bridge between psychological, measurement and statistical theory and methods and applied practice in psychology and education. 
IAP has particular research interests in: (a) the Cattell-Horn-Carroll (CHC) Theory of Cognitive Abilities, (b) narrowing the theory- practice gap in educational and psychological assessment, (c) the influence of non-cognitive (conative) student characteristics on school learning, (d) the development of educationally related assessment/measurement methods for “at risk” students and students with disabilities, and (e) the application of emerging neurotechnologies to learning and cognitive performance. The practical application of psychometrics to educational problems is a unique IAP focus.
